cistica per averci concesso questo spazio per segnalare un evento
scientifico che ha delle connessioni con molto chiare con la fibrosi
cistica e che si terrà in settembre 0:20 //
mi riferisco al congresso internazionale Transporters nell'edizione duemilasei 0:28 //
Transporters è un evento che accade a scadenza biennale nel
duemilaquattro fu fatto a Cambridge nel duemiladue a Barcellona e nel
duemila a Monaco di va- Baviera per trattare tutti gli aspetti che
riguardano il trasporto di membrana 0:51 //
e e in questa in questo pubblico che da molti anni si interessa di
fibrosi cistica il rapporto con trasportatori di membrana e CFTR è
evidentemente molto chiaro 1:5 //
l'edizione duemilasei si terrà quindi a Parma 1:11 //
principalmente per merito del prestigio scientifico che i colleghi
patologi generali di Parma godono nel campo del trasporto di membrana 1:23 e che quindi sono riusciti a a portare in Italia per la prima volta questo evento scientifico 1:29 //
io non entro nel merito dei di tutti questi aspetti ma ve ne sottolineo
solamente alcuni quali quello del problema del traffico e della
regolazione dei trasportatori 1:47 //
un campo di grosso impatto anche per quanto riguarda la fibrosi cistica e soprattutto la proteina mutata della fibrosi cistica 1:57 // la fisiopatologia del trasporto di membrana e cioè quello che è
l'impatto del funzionamento di un trasportatore di membrana nel
funzionamento di un organo 2:10 //
e ancora quella che è la rilevanza farmacologica dei trasportatori 2:17
e quindi tutto quel grande campo che riguarda la risposta individuale
ai farmaci sia in termini di efficacia sia in termini di possibile
insorgenza di effetti collaterali 2:35 //
forse non è molto chiarissima è sicuramente un congresso di impatto internazionale 2:44 //
sostanzialmente tutti gli speaker invitati a parte uno sono nordamericani oppure europei 2:53 //
e volevo semplicemente farvi un flash su una di queste sessioni che è
la sessione che riguarda l'impatto della genomica nel trasporto di
membrana 3:5 nella quale abbiamo voluto dare una rilevanza particolare alla fibrosi cistica 3:14
e nella quale avremo il piacere veramente speciale di ospitare in una
lettura magistrale Alan Brokman dell'Università di California San
Francisco che ci farà il punto su quelle che sono le ultime gli ultimi
avanzamenti delle molecole applicate in studi sperimentali per la
correzione del difetto della fibrosi cistica 3:43 //
e quindi nel segnalare questo questo evento scientifico per tutte le
ricadute e tutta la la diffusione delle informazioni che può avere
all'interno dei ricercatori clinici dei clinici e dei ricercatori
sperimentali che sono presenti in questa in questa sala io intendo
sottolineare semplicemente un aspetto 4:7 //
cioè la fondamentale importanza delle interazioni trasversali fra
esperti di diversi campi che nel corso di molti anni nel campo della
fibrosi cistica hanno dato importanti ricadute nello studio del gene
della fibrosi cistica nello studio di come funziona la proteina
codificata dalla fibrosi cistica e stanno dando adesso delle dei
promettenti risultati per quanto riguarda gli approcci sperimentali per
la correzione della proteina mutata del gene della fibrosi cistica 4:44 //
mi permetto infine un un ultimissimo ringraziamento alla Fondazione per
la ricerca sulla fibrosi cistica che ha voluto sostenere questa

brief space in order to speak about a scientific event which is
upcoming which will have important connections with the cystic fibrosis

it's the international congress on transporters the two thousand and six edition 0:29 //

for example the problem of transporter trafficking and regulation 1:46 // this is a field which has major relevance for cystic fibrosis 1:52 // and above all if we think about the mutated protein involved 1:57
and then pathophysiology of membrane transport that's to say the
impact of the function of a membrane transport on the organ function 2:11 //
and then also the relevance of pharmacological considerations within the field of transport 2:19 // this is a field which concerns the individual response of the patient
to drugs in terms of efficacy and also in terms of the possible onset
of any side effects 2:34 //
well here this will be a major international congress and fundamentally
all the invited speakers apart from one are from north America or from
other countries in Europe 2:53 //
and I just wanted to show you very very quickly one of the sessions for
example which is the session regarding the impact of genomic studies in
membrane transport 3:5 // and here we wanted to give the possibility of highlighting cystic fibrosis 3:14 // and here we will have the unique pleasure of having as a guest lecturer
Allan Broadmann from the university of California San Francisco who
will be giving us an update on the latest advances in terms of
molecular studies applied to the experimental correction of cystic

effects that this can have in terms of availability of updated
information for all the researchers 4:0 // and I thought that it was important to indicate this event to you and I
just wanted to highlight also that there is an interesting across the

there are experts from different fields working within cystic fibrosis
who have given major contributions in the study of cystic fibrosis in
the study of how the encoded protein works and who are now giving
promising study results with regard to experimental approaches to the
