qui a portare il saluto della Lega italiana fibrosi cistica e
dell'Associazione veneta 0:16 //
perché l'occasione come è stato già detto è è di quelle importanti //
si festeggia anche un compleanno 0:24 //
la Lega italiana come sapete è un'associazione di secondo livello che
raggruppa le diciannove associazioni regionali di pazienti e genitori
di pazienti e tra queste l'Associazione veneta 0:41 //
e pazienti e genitori di pazienti hanno sempre avuto e avranno sempre presente l'importanza della cura e della ricerca 0:54 //
sono le due facce di una medaglia che tutti i giorni abbiamo tra le mani 1:1 //
e tutti i giorni ci dobbiamo confrontare con i risultati che nella cura e nella ricerca sono ottenuti 1:9 //
perché l'una la cura rappresenta sicuramente quello che oggi può aiutarci per arrivare a domani e la ricerca è la speranza 1:23 //
e come Associazione veneta e anche come Lega delle associazioni abbiamo
sempre sostenuto l'importanza della ricerca e fisicamente anche
sostenuto con le risorse che potevamo la Fondazione FC per la ricerca 1:45 //
crediamo talmente nella ricerca che come accennava il professor
Mastella la Lega italiana delle associazioni e la CFE la la la Lega
europea delle associazioni europee hanno fondato costituito una
fondazione che è la Fondazione istituto europeo per la ricerca sulla
fibrosi cistica 2:13 //
che ha come obiettivo quello di fare ricerca direttamente e di promuoverla 2:22 // fare ricerca attraverso un network di laboratori europei che sono stati già individuati e che hanno aderito 2:32 // fare ricerca attraverso propri laboratori 2:36 //
uno è al San Raffaele presso i locali del San Raffaele e l'altro nascerà tra breve qui a Verona presso i locali della Glaxo 2:48 //
e quello che noi ci auguriamo e lo dico sinceramente è che una realtà
bella e importante come la Fondazione FC di cui oggi festeggiamo il
decennale possa avere una partnership stretta una collaborazione forte
con la nuova fondazione dell'Istituto per la ricerca europea 3:20 //
io credo che questo è un obiettivo non per i prossimi dieci anni ma per molto prima 3:31 //
perché lo vedo come un un qualcosa che è di assoluto interesse per la comunità scientifica tutta 3:40 // quella che riguarda la FC e in particolare per i pazienti e le famigl- le famiglie dei pazienti 3:49 //
e allora con con l'augurio che che questo possa avvenire presto e con
l'augurio che la Fondazione possa crescere negli anni e e diventare
sempre più importante io vi lascio e e vi auguro una buona sessione di

the Italian league is a second level association grouping nineteen regional associations of patients and parents of patients 0:38 // among these there is also the Veneto region association 0:42 //
patients and their families has always had and will always have very clear the importance of treatment and research 0:54 //
these are two sides of the same coin 0:57 //
two sides of the s- of a coin that we're always handling everyday and which we have to deal with every day //
we have to deal with results in treatment and research 1:10 // this is true because treatments represent what can help us today to go on in the future and research represents our hope 1:23 //
as Association of the Veneto region and as Italian League we always
supported the importance of research and also concretely we tried to
support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in terms of research 1:46 //

// as Professor Mastella said the Italian League of associations of CF
associations and also the European League of CF associations
established a new foundation 2:6 // this is
the European Institute Foundation for Cystic Fibrosis Research whose
objective is to carry out direct research and to promote it 2:21 //
the aim is to do research through a network of European laboratories 2:29 //
these laboratories have been located already and also to do researcher through their own laboratories 2:37 //
one is in San Raffaele hospital in Milan and the other laboratory will
be set up shortly in Verona in Glaxo Wellcome facilities 2:49 //
we strongly hope and I'm very honest about it that an important reality
as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of which we are celebrating the tenth
anniversary // we hope that the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation can have a
strong relationship and a partnership with the new foundation of this

I believe that this is an objective that we have to put forward not for the next ten years but much earlier 3:32 //
I think this is of a special interest for the entire scientific
community involved in cystic fibrosis and in particular for patients
